CRIT

Service terms

The rules for using Crit.

These terms describe the current Crit service: portfolio preparation, London studio access, private recipient rooms, viewing signals, and private hiring-team review.

Policy version 2026-08-01.1

The service

Crit preserves a candidate's portfolio PDF, helps the candidate approve clickable image regions, provides access to a maintained studio directory where purchased, and creates private recipient rooms.

Where the candidate separately purchases email credits and confirms a completed campaign, Crit can send one portfolio-room email to each verified recruitment email in that campaign. Portal-only studios remain manual applications and do not consume email credits.

Crit does not guarantee inbox placement, recommend hiring decisions, rank candidates, or guarantee an interview, offer, sponsorship, or response from any studio.

Accounts and access

Keep account and recipient-room credentials private. You are responsible for activity performed through credentials you control and for sending each private room only to its intended recipient.

Hiring-team notes, ratings, assignments, and stages belong to the hiring workspace and are not disclosed to the candidate.

Your work

You keep ownership of portfolio and CV material you upload. You give Crit permission to store, process, render, and deliver that material only as needed to operate the service and honour the rooms you create.

You must have the right to upload and share the material. Do not use Crit for unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive, or security-testing activity without written authorization.

Paid studio access

The checkout page states the exact package, price, directory revision, record count, current application-route count, and included outputs. Unless checkout says otherwise, the London package is a one-time purchase and not a subscription.

Studio details and application routes can change. Crit records source and checked dates, pauses new checkout when the release fails its publication gate, and preserves the revision attached to an existing purchase.

Email credits and candidate responsibility

Email credits are one-time digital units. One credit is reserved for each verified email recipient when a campaign is queued. Crit records provider acceptance, delivery, delay, bounce, suppression, failure, and complaint events where the provider supplies them.

You are responsible for the truth and lawfulness of your application, the message you approve, and your right to contact the selected recruitment addresses. Do not use Crit for unsolicited marketing, repeated bulk contact, harassment, or misleading sender identity. Sending starts after final confirmation and cannot be recalled.

Availability and closure

Crit may pause a room or account to protect users, comply with law, or prevent abuse. Candidates can revoke rooms and request account deletion. Storage cleanup may continue through a durable deletion job after database access is revoked.

Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer rights.

Complaints

Contact the operator using the support details on this page. Include the account email, order reference, and a concise description of the issue. Never send a recipient-room secret or password by email.
